New Minibus

Community Action Ledbury has just taken delivery of a brand new Mercedes Sprinter, for its Community Transport project.  The new Mercedes has been fully converted, enabling it to take passengers with disabilities and mobility challenges. This new Mercedes also has the capacity to transport individuals while they are in their wheelchair, enabling these them to travel with and participate in local community groups. Lynne Ambury, the Minibus Co-ordinator, said ‘It is great to be able to have this resource and to support community groups in Ledbury and the surrounding areas.

Maggie and James Clarke Long Service and Retirement

Ring and Ride, Ledbury recently hosted a lovely gathering of friends and colleagues to say a very warm thank you and good bye to Maggie and James Clarke who are retiring after 30 years as volunteer drivers for the Ledbury community.

Maggie and James have lived in Ledbury for 40 years and it is only appropriate for recognition of their exceptional dedication and long-term commitment to the community transport programme.
