New Mental Health Project

It is always a good day at C.A.L when a new project gets under way. Today saw the start of a short term mental health project. Therapist Emma Reed is working with a group of long term carers in the Ledbury area to help them to gain tools and build skills to manage their stress with the aim of keeping them as healthy and strong as possible in stressful circumstances.Carers are the unsung heroes of communities such as Ledbury.

Time to Bat

Do you fancy getting all hot and sweaty....but in the most gentlemanly/ womanly fashion?? C.A.L will be playing in a charity cricket match on Sunday the 31st of July from 2pm-7pm at Eastnor and we are looking for players to join our team. If you fancy joining in please give us a call on 01531 635339. All you need is a sense of humour and a willingness to get involved.

Techy Stuff

Community Action Ledbury has been on a technical journey since October 2015. Through Microsoft's charity framework for non-profits Community Action Ledbury's staff have been migrated to Office 365. We have adopted cloud versions of our business crtitcal applications and created this new modern website. The adoption of Office 365 completes our strategic view to have our critical business systems hosted in the cloud.

Office 365 will reduce our costs, increase our organisational capacity, and foster better team collaboration, so we can do more good and create more impact.
